I am the Chief Economist with the Archbridge Institute. where I am also Co-Editor of Profectus Magazine. I have a Substack on economic prosperity called "Debunking Degrowth." Before Archbridge, I was an Assistant Professor of Economics & Finance at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. I completed my Ph.D. in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Texas Tech University, where I was a Research Assistant at the Free Market Institute. Before starting my doctoral program, I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans. I am also an economics consultant for Callais Capital Management.
I am originally from Cut Off, Louisiana—a small town southeast of New Orleans. I now live in New Orleans. In my free time, I enjoy watching sports (Who Dat!) and traveling.
