Peter Calcagno
Peter T. Calcagno is a Professor of Economics at the College of Charleston, where he also serves as Director of the Center for Public Choice & Market Process. His research focuses on political economy, public choice, and applied microeconomics. Dr. Calcagno is a senior affiliated scholar with the Mercatus Center and actively promotes the exploration of economic freedom and institutional analysis in both academic and policy settings. He is also the editor of Unleashing Capitalism: A Prescription for Economic Prosperity in South Carolina.
